Southampton
is a village in Suffolk County, New York, USA. The population was 3,965 at the
2000 census. The village is named after the Earl of Southampton. It is part of
the summer colony known as The Hamptons.
The Village of Southampton is in the southeast part of the county in the Town of
Southampton.
